Residential Air Conditioning Installation

Andrew has a large loft apartment spread over two floors in a period home in Fulham.
The key rooms he wanted air conditioned were two children’s bedrooms in the loft, the master bedroom, home office and a kitchen diner.
As someone who works from home, Andrew needed the installation to be done with minimal disruption to his routine. We assured Andrew that installation could be carried out efficiently by our team working around him. The engineers required just one hour in his office room, with the rest of the work carried out in the hallways and the apartment’s balcony, allowing Andrew to continue working undisturbed.

Air Conditioning Installation in a New Build Flat

Charles shares a two-bedroom new build flat with his partner, Juliana, and their pet dog, Reggie near the Wandsworth roundabout. At certain times of the day the apartment was reaching temperatures of up to 40°C. This raised concerns not only for the human occupants but also for Reggie’s well-being.
The existing portable air conditioners were ineffective—noisy, bulky, and cumbersome. Charles jokingly described them as the “elephant in the room,” with the need to constantly empty the water tray and manage the large “trunk” (exhaust tube) out through the window. By having the window left open, this also allowed noise from cars and ambulances outside to intrude.
The installation was carried out in two days. Charles had his apartment fully air conditioned on the first day. On the second day there was making good and a little paint work.

Sarah, living in Putney, had been struggling with the heat in her master bedroom and home office on the top floor of her home.
The summer months made it difficult to sleep in the bedroom due to the high temperatures.
She had tried using fans and a portable air conditioning unit. Sarah couldn’t sleep because of the noise and was fed up with putting the large tube out of her bedroom window. Sarah wanted a quiet and permanent solution.
Her home office was small and she was working from home. It was just a stuffy room with literally no air circulation. The room got so hot during the day that Sarah had to escape to the kitchen to work, as the temperature on the top floor became unbearable.

Loft Air Conditioning Installation

Vien struggled with unbearable heat in his loft, which made sleeping nearly impossible. He initially tried using a portable air conditioning unit, which he had to put on a chair with the exhaust tube awkwardly protruding from the Velux window (which is difficult as the window is at angle).
He also tried blackout blinds to reduce the heat, but the combination of heat transfer from the roof tiles and direct sunlight continued to make the room uncomfortable.
It reminded him of his days in student accommodation. Frustrated with the ongoing discomfort, he decided enough was enough, and realised it was time for real air conditioning.

One wall hung air conditioner was designed to match the colour of his room, ensuring it blended seamlessly into the décor. In the other room, we concealed the aircon unit making it virtually invisible inside a void in the loft space, completed with a flush grill effect which gives a sleek finish integrated into the wall.
